Caro Robson
Caro is a renowned expert and leader in data protection and digital regulation. She is a passionate advocate for privacy and ethical AI, with over 15 years’ global experience across regions and sectors designing practical solutions to these challenges.
Caro has worked with governments, international organisations and multinational businesses on privacy and technology regulation, including as strategy executive for a privacy regulator and leader of the data protection and digital practice for a prominent public policy consultancy in Brussels.
Caro is currently the UK Ambassador for Geneva-based NGO the Global AI Association, Senior Advisor and Board Member to Netherlands-based ethical AI company Spectrum Intelligence, and an expert participant in the UNECE’s Working Party 6, Group of Experts on Risk in Regulatory Systems.
Caro holds an Executive MBA with distinction from Oxford, an LLM with distinction in Computer & Communications Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
She has contributed to legal textbooks, publications, and research on privacy and data governance, including for the EU, ITU and IEEE.
